Is CHEMISTRY just like a usual subject, No! It\u2019s more than just that. Chemistry according to the dictionary is the emotional interaction between two people. And that\u2019s how my English teacher explained it as I was completing my Writer\u2019s Effect question. English class was just over and I\u00a0 was already bombarded with tons of words, synonyms and perplexing phrases.\u00a0 Paragraphs and lines seem to be endless and the feedback for my answer was not what I expected. I was disappointed in myself.\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI need a break\u2019, I thought to myself, standing up as the Chemistry teacher walked in. But I desperately wanted to run to the playground.\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">And here I was sitting in Chemistry class learning the periodic table. But all I was dreaming of was my interaction with my one and only friend, just relaxing in the corridor, endless conversations on topics which for the world might seem silly.\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cSurya, are you dreaming!\u201d I could hear my teacher call out. \u201cWhat did I just say? \u201c<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">I froze. Jolted from daydreaming by her loud voice, I muttered \u201cI was listening ma\u2019am\u201d\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThen, if H2O is water, what is H2SO4?\u201d\u00a0 Giving one stern look she repeated her question.\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">I blabbered \u201cSwimming four laps in our community pool, ma\u2019am\u201d.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">What happened next is for me to know and for you to wonder.\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">Having said this, I have a profound appreciation for Chemistry.\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">Chemistry is like Lego! Ideas and frameworks can be broken down into smaller pieces and then reassembled in different ways to build something entirely new.
