About
India’s First Children’s art Biennale
The Ekya Children’s Biennale is a celebration of children as artists, makers and creative thinkers, presented across eight Ekya campuses in Namma Bengaluru.
Centred around the theme “What Does the Future Feel Like?”, the Biennale gives children the freedom to explore, question and imagine the world through art. Each campus transforms into an immersive art space, created by the children themselves through installations, artworks, performances, and experiences.
For two months, Ekya campuses become spaces to see the world through children’s eyes. Come experience India’s first Children’s Art Biennale, created by children and hosted at Namma Bengaluru.
Who Is this Biennale For?
For everyone who believes the future should be felt before it is built.
For Children:
Come as you are. Make, explore, experiment, get messy and make something that did not exist before. This is a Biennale where children are not looking at art from the outside. They are the artists.
For Familes:
Walk beside them. Let them lead you through what they have made, what they imagined and what surprised them. You might discover a side of your child you don’t usually get to see.
For Art Enthusiasts:
There are 1,000+ young artists transforming their campuses into artworks, installations, performances and imagined worlds. Come curious. You may leave with a new idea about what children’s art can be.
For Educators:
The Biennale opens up a glimpse of learning through making, questioning, experimenting and creating. It is a chance to see children take an idea and follow it somewhere unexpected.
For Namma Bengaluru:
Something unusual is happening in the city.

What is the Ekya Children’s Biennale 2026?
It is India’s First Children’s Biennale in Bengaluru. Across eight Ekya campuses, children take the lead as artists, makers and storytellers, using art, design, technology, movement and play to explore bold ideas about the future.
How is it different from a regular art exhibition?
This is not an exhibition of children’s art. It is a biennale built by artists who happen to be children. Rather than simply displaying finished artworks, the Biennale brings together installations, performances, workshops, stories and interactive experiences shaped by children’s ideas.
How do I buy a ticket?
Head to our website and purchase your ticket online that’s your way in.
Do children need a ticket?
Children 15 and under visit free no ticket needed. Anyone older needs to buy one, even if they’re coming along with a ticketed parent.
I’m an Ekya & CMR NPS parent, do I need a ticket too?
Yes! Every adult needs a ticket, parents included. It’s what makes the Biennale feel like the real cultural event it is not just a school function. Bring your friends and family along; everyone’s welcome, and everyone older than 15 buys a ticket.
Do I need a ticket to visit the Biennale?
Every visitor aged 15 and above needs a ticket, with one exception: Ekya & CMR NPS students don’t need one. If you’re an Ekya & CMR NPS student, just wear your school ID card while you’re biennale-hopping, and you’re in.
What is the theme of the 2026 Biennale?
The central question is: What does the future feel like? Children respond to this question through creativity, imagination and experimentation, exploring futures that are already taking shape in their minds.
Is the Biennale only for children?
Children are at the centre of the Biennale, but the experience is open to everyone. Parents, families, educators, artists and visitors of all ages are invited to participate and experience the future through children’s eyes.
Are the experiences at each campus theme-based?
Yes. Each Ekya campus presents experiences connected to one or more of the seven creative lenses: Nature, Machines, Memory, Cities, Rituals and Culture, Play and Connection.
Where do I collect my passport on the day?
Head to the registration desk at the campus you’re visiting. Show your ticket confirmation there, and you’ll receive your passport.
Why you shouldn't miss it?
Children imagine freely, without waiting for permission. Their art is not simply a subject they learn, but a language through which they express ideas that words cannot always hold.
