Built on 15 years of Ekya Schools’ legacy in nurturing curious, future-ready learners, this Biennale puts children at the absolute center. They aren’t learning about art, they’re creating it. In collaboration with professional artists, designers, architects, illustrators and makers from across India, over 1,000 young artists are transforming their schools into living, breathing installations.
You don’t walk in and look at paintings on a wall. You walk into the artwork. You might step inside a cardboard city, hear a story told by a 10-year-old. There are no perfect answers here, only curiosity, experimentation and the freedom to get messy.
The Big Question: What Does the Future Feel Like?
We always ask children, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” The Ekya Biennale asks something far deeper: “What do you want the future to feel like?” That single question became the heartbeat of the entire experience.
This exploration happens through seven creative lenses:
Future of Nature: What if forests and cities could be friends? Children explore sustainability and nature through sculptures and art made from natural materials.
Future of Machines: Will robots be our teammates? Here, kids play with technology, AI, and digital art to reimagine humans and machines.
Future of Memory: What stories should we carry forward? Children explore identity and heritage through photos, archives, and storytelling.
Future of Cities: What would a kind and happy city look like? Kids become architects and designers, building models of inclusive, joyful cities.
Future of Rituals & Culture: How will our festivals and traditions look tomorrow? Children reimagine culture with a fresh, modern touch.
Future of Play: Can play change the world? Through games, movement, and performance, children prove that play is a serious imagination.
Future of Connection: How do we stay together? This is about empathy, friendship, and belonging, explored through art that people create together.

This isn’t just an art show. It’s India’s first children’s biennale, unfolding across eight campuses in Namma Bengaluru, where classrooms become studios and children become the creators of tomorrow.
