Documents Required

1. Five Passport size photo of the child.

2. Copy of the Birth Certificate

3. Copy of the Previous Academic Records (For Montessori Senior/ Kindergarten II and above)

4. Student, Father and Mother’s Aadhar Copy

5. Caste Certificate (If applicable )

6. Transfer Certificate (If available at the time of submission of the form, Last date to submit the Original TC is 31st of May 

Please Note – Submission of the documents is mandatory to process the application and be eligible for the Ekya SET (Student Entrance Test)

Step 2 – Student Entrance Test (SET)

Once the application form and required documents are submitted, students may appear for the Ekya SET (Student Entrance test). Details of the Scheduled Student Entrance test will be sent to your registered Email ID.

Please Note: Ekya SET (Written test) is mandatory for students from Grade 1 onwards. For early years students, the admission process involves an interactive session instead of a written test. 

Step 3 – Acceptance and Admission Agreement

Once the student has successfully cleared the entrance test, an acceptance mail will be sent to your registered email ID along with the admission agreement and fee payment details. Parents must sign the admission agreement and submit the same at the admission office of the required campus. within 10 days of receiving the acceptance email along with the requisite fee payment. 

Step 4 – Fee payment

Details of the fee along with the payment link shall be shared to the registered email ID. parents are required to complete the payment within 10 days of issuing the acceptance letter. Failure to complete the payment within the stipulated time will result in the withdrawal of the acceptance. The preferred mode of payment is DD or NEFT. 

Step 5 – Onboarding

The payment receipt should be shared with the admission team at Ekya through email. Upon verification of the payment, the student’s admission at Ekya will be confirmed via email.

At Ekya Early Years, we see and celebrate the uniqueness of every child. We offer both Montessori and Kindergarten programs, which excite their natural curiosity, encouraging them to learn through hands-on discovery.
From Grade 1-7, our students engage with our in-house curriculum.
 
After Grade 7, students can choose from the curriculum provided by their respective campus, allowing them to pursue their interests and strengths.

How do I apply for admission to Ekya?

To initiate your admission process at Ekya, start by filling out the necessary details via the enquiry form or click on Apply Now to submit your application. After submitting your application and the essential documents, your child must take the Ekya SET (Student Evaluation Test). Successful performance in this test will qualify them for admission.

 

When does the admissions process start at Ekya?

Admissions for the academic year 2025-2026 will commence on 1st September 2024.

 

Is there an entrance test at Ekya?

Yes. The Ekya SET (Student Entrance Test) is mandatory for students from Grade 1 to Grade XII. For sample test papers click here

 

What curriculum does Ekya offer?

What is the Fee structure at Ekya?

The fee components are Admission Fee (one time) and Annual Fee. The annual fee includes only the tuition fee and excludes books, stationery, uniform, extra curricular activities, exam fees(wherever applicable), school picnics or trips, special event fees, and transportation fees.

A detailed breakdown of the fee will be shared only after the student successfully completes the SET.

What is the difference between Montessori and Kindergarten at Ekya?

The Montessori & Kindergarten programs approach learning through different lenses. In Montessori, children lead their learning under adult supervision with an emphasis on social skills and life habits. Whereas, Kindergarten is structured into age-appropriate, hands-on activities. Both aim to prepare students for further education.

 

Why are there two options for the Pre-primary level at Ekya?

To cater to diverse needs: Kindergarten runs half-day, while Montessori spans a full day. This structure aids working parents and offers a focused pedagogy for the children’s formative years.

 

What is the purpose of Open House?

The Open House lets you explore Ekya’s teaching approach and environment. It allows parents to understand our commitment to holistic growth and meet our leadership team, who will highlight our curriculum and core values.

 

Can I have a campus tour at Ekya?

Yes, Parents visit tour our campus during the Open House or with a prior appointment on working days i,e from Monday to Friday between 3:00pm to 4:30pm or on Saturday’s between 9:00am to 3:00pm. Our campus walkthroughs offer a firsthand experience of our thoughtfully designed infrastructure that promotes engaged learning and growth.

 

What is the student-teacher ratio followed at Ekya?

At the Pre-primary level, it’s 1:20, and from the primary level onwards, it’s 1:30.

 

How does Ekya prepare its students for competitive exams?

At Ekya, we offer Additional Academic Programs that focus on building a conceptual foundation and analytical and problem-solving skills to help students prepare for college and competitive examinations. These programs are optional and conducted during after-school hours for our Grade 11 and Grade 12 students.

Our additional programs to prepare students for the competitive entrance exams include Science Advanced for JEE, CET and NEET, Special programs for U-CEED (Design),  CLAT- LAW,  IPMAT- UG Management Programs and CA Examination.

How many Ekya campuses are there in Bangalore?

There are five progressive Ekya campuses in Bangalore: JP Nagar, BTM Layout, ITPL, Byrathi, and NICE Road. Ekya’s first Purpose based school – Ekya Nava  is located  in Panathur.

 

Does Ekya allow inter-branch transfers?

Yes, we do allow students to change branches. Our campuses are located in BTM Layout, Byrathi, NICE Road, ITPL & JP Nagar giving you lots of freedom to choose the campus that best suits you and your child’s needs.

Is there a transport service at Ekya Schools?

What are the school timings at Ekya?

Primary, Middle, and High School: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Kindergarten: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM; Montessori: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

No, Ekya does not provide boarding facilities.
