Legacy
Progressive K-12 Schools in Bangalore across five campuses
CMR University (CMRU) is a private university in the state of Karnataka, established and governed by the CMR University Act 2013
Includes the prestigious CMR Institute of Technology, CMR Pre-University Colleges and NPS International School, Singapore
Ekya Schools, a 35-year legacy of educational excellence, was born from the CMR Group’s commitment to quality education since 1990. What started as a single kindergarten grew into CMR National Public School by 2004. Ekya proudly continues this rich heritage, fostering a collaborative community where teachers, students, and parents work together, learning from each other, and growing as individuals. Our first campus opened in JP Nagar in 2011, marking the beginning of Ekya’s journey to empower future generations through community-driven education. By combining innovative global teaching methods, nurturing individual potential, and inspiring a love for learning, Ekya empowers future generations through community-driven education, shaping young minds and unlocking their full potential.
Founder’s Note
“Our Ekya J.P. Nagar campus holds a very special place in the Ekya community. As our first school, founded in 2010, it represents the heart of what we do. It was always envisioned as a small, close-knit community in the heart of South Bangalore, a place with an indescribable energy that makes it truly special.”
