Our Legacy
Ekya Schools carry a 30-year legacy of educational excellence, rooted in the CMR Group’s commitment to quality education since 1990. What began as a single kindergarten blossomed into CMR National Public School by 2004, a testament to the group’s dedication to nurturing young minds. This dedication, this unwavering belief in the power of education, is what led to the birth of Ekya Schools in 2010. Ekya proudly carries forward this rich history, blending inspiring global teaching methods with a focus on nurturing individual potential, and encouraging a love for learning in every child. In 2012, Ekya ITPL opened its doors, becoming the second school in the Ekya community. Situated in the heart of Bangalore’s IT hub, a vibrant centre of innovation and creativity, Ekya ITPL reflects the dynamic energy of its surroundings, embodying a spirit of design thinking and problem-solving. Ms Shiza Khan
Academic Coordinator - Senior SchoolMs. Shiza Khan, Senior School Academic Coordinator at Ekya ITPL, brings over a decade of diverse experience in the education sector, including 5 years of dedicated service at Ekya. Specializing in English, she has worked in both CBSE and ICSE schools. Ms. Shiza has adeptly handled primary and middle school as an academic coordinator while also excelling as an English educator. Her commitment to quality and holistic education shines through in her ability to foster a relaxed and engaging learning environment, encouraging conversations and positivity among students.
Ms. Shiza holds a Bachelor's in Commerce, a B.Ed., and a Master's in English, and is CTET-qualified. Her educational background and practical experience uniquely position her to guide and inspire both students and teachers. A passionate advocate for effective communication, Ms. Shiza is also an enthusiastic debater who values the power of dialogue. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys the companionship of pets and finds joy and inspiration in art and music.

Ms. Rakhi Grover
CCA Coordinator- Primary SchoolMs. Rakhi possesses a diverse range of skills and knowledge to effectively nurture young minds and she has been an integral part of the Ekya family for the past 7 years. Her passion for supporting students extends beyond the classroom, as she will be deeply involved in extracurricular activities fostering a positive and nurturing environment for all our students. She takes on the role with her expertise and passion, she's sure to enhance our students' educational experience. We ensure that every student has the opportunity to participate, excel, and derive maximum benefit from our co-curricular offerings.

Ms. Joy Grace
Designation Academic Coordinator Middle SchoolMs. Joy Grace is a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in teaching, counseling, and life skills training. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and began her career as a Special Educator, Counselor, and Behavioral Therapist, supporting students with diverse emotional and learning needs. This early experience laid a strong foundation in inclusive education and behavior management.
For the past six years, she has been a valued part of CMR National Public School, serving as a Life Skills Trainer, English Educator, Lead Teacher, and Co-House Mistress. Her dynamic teaching approach and emphasis on social-emotional learning enable her to connect deeply with students and support their holistic growth. Ms. Joy is passionate about nurturing young minds and committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Ms Gayathri S
Academic Coordinator - Early Years & Primary schoolMs. Gayathri exemplifies both dedication to education and exceptional administrative capabilities. After acquiring her Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from SASTRA University, Ms. Gayathri discovered her true calling in teaching.
Fueled by a passion for nurturing young minds, she embarked on a formal Montessori education program at the Institute of Montessori Teacher Training (IMTC) in Bangalore. Upon successful completion, she joined EKYA, bringing her enthusiasm and expertise to the institution.
Ms. Gayathri fosters a disciplined learning environment, characterized by meticulous organization and methodical approaches. She consistently demonstrates a willingness to embrace new challenges and strives for excellence in all endeavors.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Gayathri enjoys knitting, traveling, and culinary pursuits during her leisure time.

Ms. Aayushi Kajla
HOSMs. Aayushi Kajla is a dynamic education leader with over 20 years of experience in academic operations and institutional management. Guided by an unwavering passion for education, she has dedicated her career to creating nurturing, future-ready, and high-performing learning environments.
Her expertise spans curriculum development, instructional design, leadership building, and strategic partnerships with corporate entities, enabling her to drive both innovation and excellence in education. Known for her strong ethical values, outstanding communication skills, and commitment to lifelong learning, Ms. Aayushi brings a unique blend of vision and execution to every role she takes on.
Over the years, she has held pivotal leadership positions at prestigious institutions including Scholars Rosary, Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools, Gurukul School of Design, and St. Francis World School. Ms Chitra Venkateswaran
Co Curricular Coordinator - Middle & Senior SchoolMs. Chitra Venkateswaran is a Visual Arts & Design Specialist with over 12 years of experience as an educator in Mumbai, Dubai, and Bangalore. A proud alumnus of the prestigious Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her teaching. Ms. Chitra deeply believes in the therapeutic power of art and advocates for its integration into students' lives beyond the traditional classroom setting. She believes bringing children out of classroom is as important for their growth as staying inside one. In addition to her love for teaching, Ms. Chitra is also an avid painter and music enthusiast, continuously enriching her own artistic journey while inspiring her students to find joy and solace in the arts.

- Montessori Beginners & Sub Juniors have a flexible reporting time between 8:05 AM - 9:15 AM.
- All Saturdays are holidays for students in pre-primary to middle school students. 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays are working for grades 9-12 students.
- Students from Grades 6 and above have holidays on the second and fourth Saturday.
Transportation Guidelines
- Here is an indicative list of localities that fall under the transport route provided by Ekya ITPL.
- The bus will stop at the allocated pick-up point only.
- Door-to-door pick-up will not be entertained.
- Students are allowed to use their allotted bus and bus stop. No change will be allowed without prior permission from the school authorities in writing.
- Pre Primary and Primary children will only be handed over to the parent/guardian. In their absence at the point, the child will be brought back to school and parents are to pick them up from school directly.
- Students must not move around the bus while the bus is in motion.
- A student using the school bus is expected to be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus.
- Buses will not wait for latecomers.
- Fees once paid will not be refunded.
- Parents are to submit their requests for transportation to the office at the time of admission.
- Transport facilities will be confirmed and announced before the start of the academic year – based on feasibility and viability determined by student numbers.
