Our Legacy
Ekya Schools, founded in 2010, carry a 30-year legacy of educational excellence, rooted in the CMR Group’s commitment to quality education since 1990. What began as a single kindergarten blossomed into CMR National Public School by 2004. Ekya proudly carries forward this rich history, blending inspiring global teaching methods with a focus on nurturing individual potential, and encouraging a love for learning in every child. In 2016, Ekya BTM Layout opened its doors, becoming the third school in the Ekya community. Ekya BTM Layout continues this legacy, providing a vibrant learning environment where every child is empowered to reach their full potential.

Ms Sreepriya Unnikrishnan
Head of schoolMs Sreepriya Unnikrishnan has been with Ekya School, JP Nagar since 2012 as Educator, Coordinator and Head of School. She is passionate, organised, and highly motivated. She has led the team of teachers in academic programs, establishing effective systems and processes and improving methods of teaching during her tenure as Academic Coordinator.
Ms Sreepriya Unnikrishnan has over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and also in Public Administration. She has taken part in teacher workshops on ‘Connecting Classrooms’ and ‘Curriculum Planning and Assessment’. She has participated in Teacher exchange programs with schools in the UK, organised by the British Council. Mrs. Unnikrishnan is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and also plays the Veena.

Ms. Anjana Santhosh
Academic Coordinator - Senior SchoolMs Anjana Santhosh is an action-oriented professional. She has been with Ekya JP Nagar for the last six years and has seven years of experience in the field of education.
Ms Anjana is a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated educator who wants all the children to be successful and self-driven. Her interpersonal communication with parents, students, and peers fosters meaningful relationships. She is skilled and adapts quickly to diverse learning and teaching styles. Ms. Anjana has a Postgraduate degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Pre and Primary Teachers Training, and a Bachelor's in Journalism, Psychology, and Optional English from Bangalore University. She has represented school Volleyball and Shot-put at the district levels and conducted dramatic workshops in training and development.

Jeevitha M
Academic Coordinator - Middle SchoolMs. Jeevitha is a dedicated and passionate professional with a Master degree in Biochemistry and Bachelors in education. With 8 years of enriching teaching experience, she has consistently implemented innovative pedagogical strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Ms Jeevitha is receptive, approachable, unbiased and a well-rounded mentor. Her ability to build strong, meaningful connections, combined with her belief in continuous learning fosters an engaging and impactful learning environment.
As an adaptable and an accountable team player, she blends well with colleagues and peers, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment. She believes in growing together with her students and colleagues striving for continuous personal and professional growth thus nurturing the academic community.
Beyond her professional life, Ms. Jeevitha loves to travel, explore new cultures, and enjoys music, which adds to her creative energy. While she thrives well in social settings, she also values her solitude to recharge and reflect.

Ms. Saroja Vedantam
Academic Coordinator - PrimaryMs. Saroja Vedantam is a dedicated educator with over 33 years of experience in teaching and academic leadership. Holding degrees in Commerce and Education, she is recognized for her student-focused approach, creative teaching methods, and deep empathy. Beginning her career in 1992, she has worked with reputed institutions across Andhra Pradesh and Bangalore. Since joining Ekya Schools in 2015, she has been instrumental in fostering student growth and innovation. As the Coordinator at Ekya, EJPN since 2022, she leads curriculum planning, mentors faculty, and nurtures a collaborative academic culture.
Beyond academics, she has a passion for art and music, which she creatively integrates into her lessons to encourage student expression and engagement

Ms. Latha Chandrasekharan
Pre-primary CoordinatorMs Latha Chandrasekharan has been a vital part of Ekya School JP Nagarsince its inception in 2011, serving as a kindergarten educator. With 15-plus years of experience in education, she is known for her dedication, meticulous nature and passion for working with young children. She holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Meenakshi College, Chennai and has completed the Nursery Teacher’s Training course from AIECCE. She is also a trained classical singer with a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Madras.

Sahana Reddy
Co-curricular Activities CoordinatorMs Sahana Reddy, a Computer Science Engineer by qualification, began her professional journey with Wipro. However, her deep-rooted passion for teaching led her to transition into the field of education. She started her teaching career at Ekya as a Computer Science and Social Science Educator and then moved on to the role of Coordinator. Known for her calm demeanour and ever-smiling nature, Sahana is admired by her students, who find it easy to connect and communicate with her.
Beyond academics, she has a diverse range of interests. A state-level yoga champion during her school years, she has also actively participated in throwball tournaments. Additionally, Sahana has a love for singing, dancing, and travelling, which adds to her vibrant and engaging personality.

Ms. Prerita Hangal
Asst. Manager - School AdministrationMs. Prerita Hangal is a finance professional with over a decade of experience in multinational corporations like Owens Corning and Schlafhorst. She has been an integral part of Ekya School, JP Nagar, for six years, managing the administration and operations seamlessly. She is warm, friendly, diligent and a great team player.
Holding a postgraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai and a Diploma in Finance Management from Welingkar Institute of Management, Ms Hangal is passionate about cooking, travelling, and music, and has trained in Bharatanatyam dance. Her participation in dance programs during school and college debate and extempore competitions showcases her diverse talents and passion for arts.

Ms. Shanti Sivaram
CCA CoordinatorMs Shanti Sivaram, a self-driven and dedicated individual, has contributed to Ekya School JP Nagar for over 9 ½ years. Focused on her goals, she shares responsibilities, believes in perfection, and embraces technology. Her strength lies in personalised connections with students and parents. With a commerce degree from Osmania University and a Diploma in Computer Application, she combines corporate experience from GE Capital and The World Bank with a passion for travel, music, and knowledge sharing.

- Montessori Beginners & Sub Juniors have a flexible reporting time between 8:05 AM - 9:15 AM.
- All Saturdays are holidays for students in pre-primary and primary school. Students from Grades 6 and above have holidays on the second and fourth Saturday.
- Students from Grades 6 and above have holidays on the second and fourth Saturday.

Bus Usage Rules |
Students are allowed to use their allotted bus and bus stop. No change will be allowed without prior permission from the school authorities in writing. Students must not move around the bus while the bus is in motion. A student using the school bus is expected to be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus. Buses will not wait for latecomers. |
Pre-Primary and Primary Children | Pre-Primary and Primary children will only be handed over to the parent/guardian. In their absence at the point, the child will be brought back to school, and parents are to pick them up from school directly. |
Transport Fees | Fees once paid will not be refunded. |
Request Submission |
Parents are to submit their requests for transportation to the office at the time of admission. Transport facilities will be confirmed and announced before the start of the academic year – based on feasibility and viability determined by student numbers. |
