Ekya NICE Road
Outbound Learning
The Outbound Learning Program at Ekya NICE Road, is designed to help students make real-world connections and evolve into wholesome individuals. Every experience is age-appropriate, carefully curated and meticulously planned around experiential learning, adventure, sustainability and service themes. These trips allow students to discover themselves, the world around them, make connections with concepts learned in class and the immense possibilities available to them.
This year, our Outbound Learning program has planned several exciting trips for students. The Final Year Retreat will take place in September, with 145 students participating. The Parent Child Overnight Astro Adventure camp will be held in October, with 95 parents and 96 children joining in. We also have an Adventure Camp to Panchgani and Lonavala scheduled for 45 students, as well as an Outbound Adventure Trip to Tadoba Tiger Reserve for 21 students. These trips aim to provide students with experiential learning opportunities, fostering personal growth, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
After School Activities
These activities are designed with clear learning objectives. We focus on providing students with opportunities to identify and nurture their unique talents.
Service learning
At Ekya NICE Road, we acknowledge the importance of community service in shaping our students into socially conscious and engaged individuals. By integrating community service into our educational framework, we not only impart valuable civic skills to our students, but also offer them opportunities to interact with people from diverse backgrounds, thereby cultivating a sense of social responsibility and interconnectedness.
Experts at Ekya
At Ekya NICE Road, we host a monthly event called “Experts@Ekya” where we invite professionals from various fields to share their experiences and insights with our students. These interactions enable our students to distinguish between their genuine passion for a profession and one that is imposed upon them.
Through these talks, students gain valuable insights on the key factors that contribute to success, including excellence, hard work, dedication, and commitment. Our students develop essential skills such as formulating questions, public speaking, and curiosity about the world. Ultimately, our goal is to empower our students to make informed and responsible career decisions in the future.
School Clubs and Houses
Ekya NICE Road Clubs
At Ekya NICE Road, our school clubs provide a dynamic space for students to take the lead and cultivate their interests. With the guidance of teachers and mentors, each club has its own distinct objectives, enabling students to delve deeper into their passions and hone their strengths. In a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere, students work together, share their ideas, and learn from one another, instilling a sense of ownership and empowerment.
School Houses
Students are drafted into their respective school houses from Grade 1 and above. With a calendar dotted with intra-school events, the school’s houses go head-on with students representing them from every grade. The four school houses at Ekya NICE Road help build a community that encourages healthy competition and present themselves as a playground for the school’s talent to shine.
