FIND Y

FIND Y

Find Y is an open project that provides opportunities for students of Grades 5-8 to have agency in the learning process.
Students identify their interests and use those interests to drive and lead learning experiences. They choose or research a topic they want to learn more about, a skill they want to learn or improve upon or create something new. For example – Black holes, Egyptian mythology, music composition, digital art, and Japanese cuisine. They will be guided by mentors through this journey.
The Project culminates in a Showcase – students research and document the process and share their learnings with the school community.

Examples of Student Projects
– Is there a possibility of the Earth colliding with the Sun and what will be its impacts?
– How did Vincent van Gogh’s mental health struggles influence his artistic style and subject matter?
